Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences (FPZ), established in 1984, is a part of the University of Zagreb, and the leading high education as well as scientific and research institution in the field of transport and traffic engineering in Croatia. Due to numerous national and international projects assessing road safety infrastructure worldwide, and the exceptional effort and dedication invested in their execution, in 2020, the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences at the University of Zagreb became a member of the Forum of European Road Safety Research Institutes (FERSI) and earned the title of Center of Excellence under the International Road Assessment Programme (iRAP), contributing to the promotion of road safety infrastructure development in Croatia and abroad.

A big data and road safety telematics solutions company for insurance, banks, telecom, automotive, leasing, and fleet management companies around the globe, will provide advanced skills training on programming and ML techniques, as well as transferable skills on the legal aspects of responsible AI, e.g. data privacy and IP.

PSA Automobiles S.A.

A vehicle manufacturer company and its research centre LAB, with strong road safety vision and research partnerships with academia and other manufacturers, brings the vehicle industry perspective to the training; they will provide thematic training on human factors in road safety, with a focus on the challenges of vehicle automation. They will host secondments for other DCs working on RG2.

Cegeka

An international company with a focus on AI solutions for smart cities and road safety, will focus on the data science advanced skills training on AI operationalisation into customer solutions. They will host secondments in Belgium at partner Citymesh NV.

ABEONA consult is a young & dynamic company specialized in developing smart products, software and services in the domains of transportation & traffic safety. ABEONA focus on collecting data from the crowd (=crowdsourcing), creating applications (mobile or web) that are linked on the generic crowdsourcing platform that is developed within the Transportation Research Institute (IMOB) at University of Hasselt.

RHDHV – Royal HaskoningDHV

Royal HaskoningDHV is a global engineering, consultancy, and project management firm. One of our core activities is to help (inter)national and local governments and road administrators to reach their goals in terms of road safety. To that end, we study road safety, provide policy recommendations, and develop tooling to aid the pro-active and data-driven decision-making processes sought after by our clients to ensure that all road users come home safely every day.

CardioID Technologies Lda

CardioID was born out of research on Physiological Computing, studying ECG signals for biometrics, health, and wellbeing purposes, on the premise that each cardiac signal is unique. CardioID has developed several collaborative projects aimed at integrating its technology in the most diverse environments, such as in the automotive industry, critical facilities, and hospitals.

AGILYSIS Limited

A road safety consultancy with a strong focus on technology solutions for national and local authorities, road and fleet managers, will lead the Training and Career Development WP2 of IVORY and ensure the active participation of all non-academic partners and the strong industrial component of the programme. They will provide thematic training on core skills related to AI challenges in LMICs. AGILYSIS will bring their experience of learning management systems and will lead the creation of the learning and networking platform.

iRAP – International Road Assessment Programme

A global charity on road safety assessment and network evaluation, will lead the organisation of the IVORY mid-term and final conferences, and will provide advanced research skills training on iRAP innovations for infrastructure safety management.
