The “IVORY” doctoral network, held its First Year Review Meeting from March 25–28, 2025, hosted by the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences (FPZ) in Zagreb, Croatia.

The event brought together the 15 doctoral candidates, their academic supervisors, and industrial partners to reflect on the network’s first year of progress and outline future research directions in AI for Vision Zero in Road Safety.

The meeting included a formal review session with the European Commission, as well as interactive workshops and training sessions designed to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry partners, as outlined below:

🎓 “Ethics in AI for Road Safety” (by TU Delft, for all doctoral candidates).
🎓 “Human Factors in Road Safety” (by LAB and Hasselt University, for WP5 doctoral candidates).
🎓 “Proactive Infrastructure Safety Management” (by iRAP and FPZ, for WP6 doctoral candidates).
