The IVORY held its Consortium Meeting and Network-Wide Training from November 5–7, 2025, hosted by the Stellantis/Renault Group LAB (Laboratory of Accidentology, Biomechanics and Driving Behavior) in Paris, France.
This three-day meeting brought together all 15 IVORY Doctoral Candidates, their supervisors, and industry partners for a combination of strategic planning, technical discussions, and advanced training focused on the evolving role of AI in road safety worldwide.
🎓 A major highlight of the event was the full-day training delivered by Agilysis, focusing on:
-
- AI and Road Safety Challenges in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs)
The training guided participants through the landscape of open and commercial datasets available for mobility and safety research, highlighting opportunities to leverage. Also, the doctoral candidates were challenged to propose innovative solutions for challenges related to safe road use and behaviour changes.

🗂️ In addition to the training, the consortium engaged in several coordination and planning sessions covering:
-
- Preparation for the Year 2 reporting,
